We like them a lot, helps filling in empty space, where we had to remove some hedges. We were replacing one we had that got damaged from a hail storm. But they are only solid in a bunch of 6. Would be nice if you could mix and match different colored ones.if you have to buy 6 at once.

Classic sunflower spinners, what a hoot! I bought two sets so there are 12 now scattered in my front yard. We have a lot of wind always in KCMO, since I "planted" them they have been spinning like crazy non-stop, the strong wind has not harmed them. These aren't esthetically beautiful but they sure are cute! My hope is that what I have heard is true, the vibrations of the posts in the ground will keep the moles and groundhogs away. The last two years we have had mole tunnels popping up all over our yard all spring and summer, a good way to break an ankle if you step on one and it collapses. Mole season is upon us, spinners have been twirling for two weeks, so far NO MOLE TRAILS...

He uses them in the yard to help with gophers and mole supposedly when the blade spines the vibration from it differs them. Don’t know if it really helps but they look pretty and he likes them so it was a good buy.

If you live in a region of the country that see's a lot of high winds like we get in the Nebraska plains, then this Spinning Daisy Sunflower from Beloit Plastics is a must have for yard decorations. We see numerous days throughout the year with winds going from 15 to 35 MPH, and these windmills take a beating, and keep on spinning. There's been times that these windmills were spinning so fast that we thought they were going to takeoff like a helicopter. There may be times when you will need to re-bend the wire post after really strong winds, but that is a minor issue considering the dependability of these spinning wheels. I would also add that even small breezes can make these wheels spin. Truly these Spinning Daisy Sunflowers from Beloit Plastics are a must have for lawn/yard decorations.

I purchased these spinners last spring for aesthetics and not for function so I am not sure how well they work to deter rodents. At first they kept falling off until I realized that I needed to push the flower back onto the bent portion of the rod. No problems with them falling off since then. They spin a lot. I like the visual interest they add to my landscaping and my neighbors seem to like them as well. We have lots of wind here with strong gusts, the flowers and rods have withstood it all. I have kept them out all year except with our Christmas decor. None are bent or broken. Good product.
