I purchased this set of ski pants to replace a set that I have had for about 3 to 4 years and all I can say is this pair beat my expectations! I did notice these are a bit heavier and fuller thany old pair, like I said the old pair is 3 to 4 years old, and I can definitely say these are much warmer and windproof than my old pair. I do all my outdoor activities in the winter wearing a set of ski pants so my ski pants do get a bit beat up but I think these, with the reinforced knees and ankles, will last a bit longer than 3 to 4 years which is the typical life of my ski pants. I feel these are a very good value for what the intended purposes is.

I liked how the snow bib fit, it was comfortable and not too tight with an average amount of layers. They will keep you warm and dry, but if you plan on bending down to tie your boots, take any long steps or any outdoor activity the stitching at the crotch will tear. Almost impressive the lack of durability it had. After wearing it for an hour for a small outing it already tore and continued getting bigger with the passing hours. I wore it for all of 3 hours. Luckily I had another pair with me otherwise I would’ve had a hole down under for my whole trip. It’s worth it to go the extra mile and buy Arctix instead. If you buy these also plan on buying and bringing a sewing kit with you with stronger thread.

There are many likable features to these bibs: waterproof and windproof material, insulated for warmth, ripstop durability, adjustable fit, multiple pockets, and reinforced knees. All this for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
