I really prefer this type of end connector over the clamshell ones as I personally find them easier to use and prettier.The wire types I use don't really knot well so I put a small crimp on the end of the wire to keep it from slipping out of the hole of the connector. Because these are smooth without the "hinge" of the clamshell, I feel the finished look is nicer.
