I love not having to give our two huge dogs flea meds. These nematodes really work. This is the third or fourth time we've purchased them. Everytime we put down new spots we buy more just in case. Big thanks.

Not my first time using beneficial nematodes for flea control. The fleas have been terrible this year. My dogs go in the yard for 5 minutes and come back scratching. The fleas are huge, too.Got this, had my doubts when it arrived totally warm, but tried it anyway. I had already watered the yard in preparation. Sprayed them in the early evening. Used an electric sprayer to apply, so it was fairly quick. Watered again afterwards, and then lightly watered every morning and evening to ensure the ground stayed moist.I did notice a sharp reduction in fleas within a matter of days. However, even with keeping yard wet, the effect only lasted a couple weeks at most. And that's with vacuuming my home every couple days, washing all my dogs' and my bedding 1-2 times per week, applying diatomaceous earth all over my home, and bathing the dogs with added citronella and neem oil to the castille soap. So, yes, this was effective, but not for long. I did end up buying same nematode species from another company, but those did not seem to have any efficacy at all. The fleas have come back en force since applying the other company's nematodes, which I 'm pretty sure were DOA.I will try these one more time before looking elsewhere for a natural flea prevention.

When my daughter walked in the house last fall, and about 20 fleas jumped off her white socks, I knew we had a problem. Yup, they were all up in my white dog's business. We treated the house with vacuuming and diatomatious earth. We treated the dog, but he was still scratching day and night. He scratched so hard his fur fell out and he was no longer a fluffy white dog. He was a pink, skinny dog with tufts of white fur here and there. It was pathetic. Then the cats started scratching. We treated them too. But the dog kept bringing in more fleas. The vet said we would continue to have a flea problem unless we treated the yard. But, pollinators. Fruit trees. The veggie garden. I didn't want to treat the yard with pesticides. AND THEN I FOUND THIS!Bought the hose sprayer thingie, applied as directed. It was easier than I thought. It did not work right away. Then winter came and the fleas went dormant, the dog's fur grew back... but everything I read said that the fleas would be back as soon as the weather warmed in spring.But... they weren't. No fleas on the white socks. No scratching dogs. No scratching cats. Nothing! The fleas are gone from the yard, and our lives. I am so, SO happy.

My original review was that they did not work. I sprayed them on my lawn mid September of last year, and in mid October, we were still horribly infested with fleas. It was a nightmare. I spent most of the winter scared of spring returning, believing it would bring the out of control infestation of fleas again. Well, I have to tell you that I have not seen a single flea all summer! Not one! The only thing I can attribute this to is spraying this in my yard last year. I was honestly ready to move because of the fleas in this area. My neighbors have been talking about the flea problem being especially bad this year, and I have not seen a single one. I will be ordering it again this week for extra protection. This stuff is amazing.

I used this in my lawn that's 2 acres, I got the first order and it came warm and I believe they where dead, I applied them anyways and was pretty sure they where not alive, I sent an email letting them know that when I received my package the cold packs where warm from being in my black mailbox all day, they arrived when I wasn't home that day 😔they sent me new box and said they would make sure they where sent out and kept cold I got them a few days later and reapplied them and I really believe they worked cause I live by the river and there is alot of bugs, gnats, flies, and fleas and ticks was the main reason I ordered them! I havnt seen alot of the spiders that are taking over with the pointy butts that where literally everywhere through my yard you have to carry a stick and wave in front of you to walk. So I would say they worked!

We live in the southern Ohio forests where we cohabitate with bugs and insects daily. While most of these creatures are not a problem, the Summertime would bring an infestation of fleas on our pets and in our house that was NOT controlled by even the most expensive flea medications, flea bombs, or professional experts! We even had these disgusting fleas biting on us! Seriously out of control!!! Two Summers ago I tried the Beneficial Nematodes, hoping for even a tiny bit of relief. It was very easy to use, just mix them up with water in the special sprayer, attach to a hose and spray everywhere around the yard and house. It takes about 45 minutes to apply them, and you have to shake the container every few seconds to keep it from clogging. If it seems like it is not spraying correctly, remove the suction straw inside the container, rinse the straw, then reattach it and continue spraying. RESULTS ARE RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! Not even ONE flea anywhere!!! We have never seen another flea anywhere ever again!! And totally harmless to pets, plants and children!I use this every year, applying once after the last frost. (Because our particular situation was so intense, I applied a second dose to our yard about a month later, but I really did not need to!)
