The blade cuts really good. And the cover cuts down on a lot of dust. And the size fits just right.

I got this to install some 6 inch lights and it has worked just as I wanted it too. I like the accordion style bucket so that it stays as sealed as possible while making the cut. The blade is sharp and it made clean cuts through drywall. It appears unaffected after making 4 cuts, which I would expect. Overall, I'm happy with this hole saw

Worked great in drywall and the dust collection boot worked as advertised. Doesn't eliminate debris, but it sure cuts down on it. It felt a little on the duller side when going through a piece of 3/4" ply, but that's to be expected with a hole saw of this diameter. Overall, for the relatively rare use case I have for a hole saw this large, it will do just fine for when I actually need it.

I used it on cutting holes in drywall for some lights and speakers and it just cuts so nice! The saw just slices thru the drywall with no issues and the catcher means no dust! I've never had a hole saw with the dust collector so this has been a simple and amazing addition to my life.

This saw kit has everything needed for installation projects—I used it for installing LED lights, and it worked well. The blade itself is sharp, though the larger diameter did put some strain on my drill. The dust collector functioned well, especially on drywall, but was a bit trickier when I had to cut through wood in one section of my work area. Overall, a solid, well-equipped kit for the job!

Came very well packaged and includes everything you will need, short of the drill. You assemble the included pilot bit (came with 2) and secure it in place with the included Allen wrench. The dust boot is accordion style and you just put the end of the hole saw that you attach to your drill through the boot from the top. The end that goes in your drill will stick through the bottom of the boot. This will catch the dust while drilling the hole in the ceiling. I have a bunch of canless LED lights to install in my home and this will make things much faster and cleaner than using my cutout tool and dust just flying everywhere! Recommended purchase and good value for the price!

Review of ”BEoffer 4-1/4 Inch/ 108mm Hole Saw with Dust Bowl Mess Free...":(Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page). This is a sharp bi-metal 4-1/4" hole saw that cuts well. It has the included dust catcher which fits around the saw well as it should. It also includes a spare drill bit. The only issue that I had in using it was (as seen in the photo) that two of the four holes that are supposed to be exactly opposite of each other are not and they do not line up with the collar pins. The other two holes do line up properly so I used those. I haven't done it yet but will use my reamer to widen one of the two holes that don't line up so that they too can be used because I do like to make sure that the hole saw is threaded as far as possible into the chuck when I cut tough material.I've done a bit of market research on Amazon for this specific type of product and find that at $16 this is priced on the very low side of the market and is quite a good buy, even with the two holes that don't line up because the other two can be used without any trouble. I have assigned 4 stars because of the excellent pricing for this size hole saw that includes the dust catcher. I would've given fewer stars if it weren't such a good price due to the two non-aligned collar-pin holes. My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. This is so it can be fairly compared and reviewed whether good, bad, average, or anywhere in all of the grey area between. One thing that I wish were better defined by Amazon is exactly what each star should represent from 1 to 5 so that every Vine member would use the same guide in that regard. So, to let you know the guide that I use, I include it as follows:I always start off considering that average is 3 stars, and an average rating to me is: The product was correctly represented in the ad. The manufacturing quality is as expected. The product performed as intended. The product operating/user guide if needed is helpful. The product is priced accordingly. Then after inspection, measuring, testing, using, wearing, or whatever is required I add or subtract from the average as follows: Subject to additional stars: Additional product features not expected that are useful. Manufacturing quality/performance above what was stated or expected. Included guides and/or useful information that is beyond the norm. Product pricing highly competitive for a superior product. Subject to fewer stars: The product was misrepresented in the ad. Manufacturing quality/performance below what was stated or expected. No useful guide or understandable user information when required. Product pricing is on the high side considering quality, features, or the market.all the best,dr

I would not try this tool on wood or other unusual materials, unless you have a very powerful drill, due to the large diameter. For regular ceilings however, with regular gypsum boards, it cuts very well. I used it to install one additional light and it worked well. Unsure about the durability but the blade did not seem damaged after use.The dust collection is nice, it removes maybe 85% of the dust, but there is still some dust falling through the center, so make sure to take usual precautions. I found that having someone else hold a vacuum cleaner near the center, while you drill, will help, but that is not always possible. The dimensions are accurage, 6" was a perfect fit for my recessed lights, although I understand some may call for a different diameter. Better check the precise cutting dimensions of the particular lights you want to install. The tool comes disassembled but assembly was simple, it is basically a regular hole saw, just oversized and with a dust collection shroud. The dust collection shroud has a bearing to help with the rotation of the bit, it is nice, although of course it is not a ball bearing, it still allows good and free rotation.Overall this tool is a must have for electricians or anyone wanting to install recess lighting. At this price (less than $20) it is very reasonable and will pay for itself very quickly.
