I bought this trout bait toward the end of the season and only had a few apportunities to use it. As with most power bait it has a very strong attractant smell and is pliable and easy to use.

This is it. Use it with some garlic gell at the top of the hook and you will catch stock trout. I use a slip weight and a light hook so it floats from the bottom. If you use the treble hook like they suggest it wont float.

Berkley PowerBait FW Trout Nuggets works just as well as the floating PowerBait if the fish are near the water's surface and you are using a float or bobber. You get 1.5X what you normally get in a regular jar of PowerBait so it's a pretty good buy overall. The PowerBait nuggets are pretty big so one nugget (like the size of a mini marshmallow) could be cut into two smaller pieces if you're thrifty like myself. Overall, highly recommended!

Haven’t had much much with these pellets at all. I bought them because I though they might resemble the fish pellets and the fish do not seem to want them at all.

We use this in a small pond by our house. Lot of sun fish and small trout. We get bites almost instantly! And it's not slimy like worms, so my 7 year old daughter is able to bait her own hook.

I was fishing within 2-miles of a trout hatchery in Branson. I fed real fish pellets to trout in the hatchery and they'd fight over the stuff. Tried these Trout Nuggets in Lake Taneycomo, where hatchery Rainbows and Browns are released and never got a nibble. White, pink and chartreause Power Bait worked day and night.
