A nice looking sofa and like that you can lounge out and take a nap (when not in summer in FL).The only thing, for me, and others have mentioned it....is the installing the legs and the back rest....the legs were mislabeled so the holes for the back rest didn't line up.....no big deal just swap the legs positions so that the holes for the back are NOT inline vertically...The holes are meant to be offset to match the backrest's offset holes.See my instructions pics.

First, the BCP Customer Service Team should get 5 stars on their own. (I’ll rate the seller after I make this post). My set had a slight flaw and after I reached out they were able to quickly help resolve - hassle free on my end!Second, assembly is a breeze - if you read through the reviews first you will see what the one common issue is assembling, allowing you to be proactive :) The instructions that were included are 98% clear and are easy to follow. The catch is that there is definitely a right leg and a left leg - and a front and back to each. I will attach my sketched revisions for your reference! The holes are all correctly pre-drilled and if you lay it out in advance, you should be able to get the pieces to attach correctly. Total assembly took me 20-30 minutes.Tip: assembly is also made quicker if you have a cordless drill with the included allan wrench’s “handle” cut/ground off (also pictured) to use as a bit or the correctly sized allan bit. (Be careful to not over-tighten, go just until snug!)Third, I read through a ton of reviews to determine ease of assembly and level of comfort. Every store I’ve been in lately I’ve tested out the patio furniture in hopes of something I feel like I could sit for hours in (or even 20 minutes). The reviews really didn’t disappoint. It is a little lower to the ground, which I like, but my elderly in-laws have a little harder time getting up off of. This set is comfortable and with the option to sit, lounge, or lay, it’s a unique, diverse piece of patio furniture.

We bought this futon for the Florida room in our house. We wanted a dual purpose piece for sitting and to be used as an extra guest bed. This fits the bill perfectly. It’s a little lower than I expected as I didn’t pay attention to the measurements but the firm cushion makes getting up easy. I enjoy a firm seating cushion and for me this is fantastic.My husband and I put it together fairly easily. As others have stated, the directions and fittings leave much to be desired. Through trial and error we figured out which way to place the side pieces. Some of the pre-drilled holes weren’t big enough and we had to enlarge them for the screws to fit. The sides didn’t drop as they were supposed to. The pieces were cut just a bit too long. A slight sanding solved the problem and the sides now drop down easily for when we want to convert the couch into the bed.

This piece is so unique!!! I love it! The back pillows are a bit awkward at times because it's not one solid pillow but it's to allow for moving them around depending on the position of the futon/sofa. It's made of quality wood and material and it's quite comfortable. I recieve a lot of compliments on it. I had a few small issues during assembly but I had an online chat with customer service and they went above and beyond to help...to a degree that I was shocked, in fact! I would order this again AND I would order from this company a million times over given both the ease of contacting them (online chat) and their more than satisfactory resolution to my small issues.

THEY HAD ONE FREAKING JOB! DRILL THE HOLES STRAIGHT. Make sure you have a drill because you won't be able to screw the back on without drilling new screwholes. Serious serious manufacturing quality control issue.The sides don't go down all the way when it's completed. There's a slight lift at the ends.

We are happy with this item. The cushions are comfortable. The assembly was easy. The look is great on our patio. So versatile, too, as you can take an afternoon siesta by simply lowering the arms.

Do Not Buy This Unless You Have Your Own Drill, Wood Screws, a Level, Wood Glue, at least Two People and a Pillow to Scream into. Even if you have all those things, it’s obvious they’re selling defective furniture here bc most people would try to make it work rather than figure out the logistics of a return with such a large item. *Don’t do what I did and ignore the comments about manufacturers defects and holes not lining up*. This took me hours to put together and because none of the holes lined up, I had to use my own screws. Due to the angles and the side supports having an inch of dead space in between, I had to use several screws on each side and the wood split. Does NOT recline. I can’t believe I just spent $400 to get a headache. The only nice thing I can say is the cushion seems to be good quality but everything else is crap. If you already have another outdoor couch in your cart, buy that one bc this one is terrible.

I hesitated on buying based on reviews saying that the holes for assembly were drilled wrong, but figured I could drill my own if necessary, and I'm so glad I took the risk! The holes are not drilled wrong, the other reviewers put it together wrong. The key is that the legs are not interchangeable - there is a designated left leg and a right leg, though they aren't marked clearly. If you put them on the wrong side the holes won't line up. If you do it correctly they line up perfectly.So the assembly is a bit involved and could be explained better, but once you get it together it's great, built solidly out of sturdy material, it comes with more pillows than you know what to do with, and in a nice color, too. Definitely recommend!
