I gave this to a friend as a gift, and she uses it in her kitchen to prop up recipes. She really likes how convenient it is!One thing I did notice was that the wood was not sanded completely smooth, so be careful when handling!

Loved that this had a shelf, unlike others I looked at. Very rustic appearance, which I wasn't crazy about as there were a lot of grooves in the wood and it was not smooth. It was a gift for my daughter in law for her library and she actually like the rustic feel.

Received this as a gift off my wishlist. It’s surprisingly heavy but works well. I just wish it had looked more like what the selling image (with the cup holder stand part) looked like—you only get the book stand part. Aside from that though it’s pretty decent. Definitely not going to tip over on you if you bump it (or if your cat does like mine), and will fit just about anywhere.

After looking into many similar book stands on Amazon, I found that most of them were cheap and not made of solid wood. I took a chance on this one despite it having very few reviews. It took a little bit to arrive but the product was well worth the wait. I love that it is a beautiful solid wood piece and was packaged in a way that didn't require assembly and would not be damaged upon delivery. The only con was that there was 2 nails peeking out on the inside but I should be able to fix that easily. Overall, I'd say it exceeded my expectations and is priced well.
