THE worst patches I've ever used. Put them on my beloved vintage Link and a Selmer Soloist and over time both patches slid way out of position. I tried to reposition the patches, but they quickly slid out of place again. Frustrating. I've removed the patches to replace them and they left an impossible mess of glue on each mouthpiece that I'm still trying to get off. Maybe these are a bad attempt at copying an actual mouthpiece patch, but with the wrong type of adhesive. Idunno. I recommend getting your patches from your local dealer or Woodwind and Brasswind.

I have strong front teeth that are a little uneven so this thickness works great for all of my alto, tenor, bari, clar and bass clar pieces. I do not notice any excessive dampening of vibrations due to the extra thickness. I recorded myself on metal and HR pieces with no patch and then with these hearing no difference on the recording.

I prefer the thicker pads, but this does the job well. I use these on all different sizes of clarinets. Contra-Alto to soprano.

I use gold plated metal mouthpieces on my saxophones. These require replacing the cushion on a regular basis to prevent teeth marks. I like the thickness of these and they are of a size that is comfortable on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. Other cushions I have used were so thin that they didn't last or provide much cushion. I like that they provide this cushion while being almost invisible.
