The included spoke size checker only measures up to 2.16mm, but the chart jumps from 2.0mm to 2.3mm, leaving out the 2.16mm measurement. Interestingly, all three bikes I own have 2.16mm spokes, which I assume is a common size. I’m not sure why it was omitted.

The kit makes no sense. There are no instructions. The conversion table doesn't say anything about spoke material. The conversion table doesn't correspond to the values on the spoke measuring tool. My spokes fit the 2.16 value on the spoke measuring tool. The conversion table doesn't have that spoke size. It just make no sense. My spokes are actually 2.0mm. You cannot measure that with the provided tools. If I compare the values on the conversion table for 2.0mm butted spokes, the values are very different from the park tool app. At least the park tool takes spoke material into consideration. I do not trust this kit. It just makes no sense.

You can almost tell what the tension is when you are tightening the spokes with the tool, but good backup to measure with the scale. A tension force table is included so you can see precisely what the reading means, but just measure a "proper" spoke, and then adjust all others to match.
