I drive from Fort Lauderdale to the Keys a few times a year during the summer and the first thing I do is put the top down. Unfortunately, by the time we reach the Keys, we're already sun burned...which kinda put a damper on the week of sun and fun we planned. This time I was prepared with this sunshade top. It allows you to still have the open air top-down experience without being burned to a crisp. Installation was simple and the material feels thick and well stitches, with lots of grommets on all sides to pull the shade tight.

Living at altitude in the Rocky Mountains, the sun can get pretty intense in the summer time. This mesh shade provides a nice barrier to block some of that intensity while still providing the open air feeling that I love in my Jeep. There were no instructions with the shade, which isn't a huge deal, but I'll admit that I was entirely sure where to wrap some of the straps. I figured out a system that works for me and still allows the freedom panels to go back in over them, so it worked out. The screen is really well made and heavy duty. The stitching is strong and the mesh feels like it's made to last. I look forward to removing the freedom panels on our occasional warm autumn days.
