I have kids with all different size bikes, so I love that these can be mounted at different heights. They just barely span the studs (if you screw in from an angle, you can hit studs on either side), so it would be nice if they were just a little longer, but not bad.I also had an issue with one hook that broke (about a year after buying them), and reached out to the manufacturer (through Amazon). They responded almost immediately, and had a replacement to me in just a couple days. Great customer service.

My daughter had a bicycle that was always in the way. I installed a hoist to get it off the ground as she seldom uses it. Then my two granddaughters added their bicycles to the mix. This rack allows me to hang up to 6 bikes. Not sure if you can squeeze 6 bikes onto the rack, but there are 6 hooks. I have a Trek bike made for an adult and two kids' bikes as well as a trailering mount hung up on it. Plenty strong. I put a piece of plywood on the wall cut to the size of the rack so I could hit multiple studs with the screws. I mounted the rack to the plywood. Weight is not an issue. Easy to hang and remove the bikes.

Admittedly, I’m not a super handy person. I’m a woman in my 20s who wanted to clean up the garage as a nice surprise… and let me say, this purchase was not for me. This review is for my fellow strugglers out there — I don’t want to rate the product for my own user error, but I wanted to write an honest review for anyone who might be in a similar position! The rack itself seems sturdy and well made, but if you don’t have a power drill or a stud finder, you’ll probably struggle like I did. I was able to install the racks, but not in a way that feels safe or sturdy. Again, this is my own error and not a fault of the product. When I tried to raise one of my bikes onto it, I could tell the rack was going to rip out of the wall from the weight. I abandoned the bikes in favor of hanging up some shears and clippers, which hold up just fine on the racks. I’m sure with the proper installation, tools, and manpower these would be great. But as for me… it was a struggle.

This product does do the job but not as great as I would have liked. First of all, why is it in 3 different pieces? Would be simpler if it was just one long piece. Second, if you plan on using on drywall you’ll want WAY better anchors. The ones it comes with will not do the job. A standard adult mountain bike will rip the plate out of the wall if it’s not drilled into a stud if you use better anchors. This happened to me with just one bike on the template. If you manage to get them in sturdy, it does do the job and does save room in your garage. The hooks are fine and hold the bike as expected.

We're a biking kinda family! Our garage was getting way too crowded with bikes. I needed to do something to save some space and this wall mount solution was perfect! As you can see, I have that sucker fully loaded and I've been using it for a few months now without issue. I attached the tracks to studs in the wall and have used the hooks to hang the bikes.I wouldn't expect the kids to get their bikes down from this position, so we leave their bikes out on the floor of the garage, in front of the hanging bikes. But I do keep my two bikes (road & mountain), my wife's bike, a couple spare bikes for when their friends are over or smaller kids are over and a little kids trailer bike on this mount and I can easily get bikes on and off the hooks as needed. Using this gave us so much more space and helped stop making the garage feel so cramped! I would recommend for adults needing to store bikes. I would NOT recommend if you need something the kids can use as well. It requires too much strength and coordination for a kid to get a bike on and off the hooks.I have them packed in pretty tight so I do have to wiggle and navigate the handle bars from getting tangled in other bikes as I'm taking off and putting bikes on. But if you have the room, I'd get an additional track to spread them out a bit. Or just hang 4 bikes instead of 6. For us though, some of these bikes don't come down often so not a huge issue. I put the bikes we use the most towards the ends on each side.

Purchased this in order to clean up the garage. Unfortunately, as it comes, the anchors are weak and pull out of the wall as soon as a bike is placed on the rack. Two of the three have pulled out of the wall and I've had to purchase stronger anchors in an attempt to resolve. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
