It took a minute to install, was super easy, and was very sturdy after the installation was done. My 4-year-old son can operate it with no difficulty, and he can also put it up for standing on it without falling over. I recommend this so much, and I should have done this earlier than having his bike lay on the ground and get scratched up all over.

Got this for my son's 16" bike which originally came with training wheels we recently removed. The bike didn't come with a kickstand. This one fit nicely and was easy to install. I like that thr stand height is adjustable so it could possibly be used if my son's next/bigger bike were to not cone with a stand.

Yes, it is super easy to install. Just one bolt. Unfortunately, the angle of this kickstand and the 100 other listings on Amazon of this copy (from China) are all poorly designed. They do not support a 20" child's bike properly. First, the angle of the kickstand itself is too far forward. Next, the kickstand itself, even at maximum extension/length, is too short for a 20" wheel/bike. The bike leans over on the kickstand too much, and the foot does not sit flat on the ground. A gust of wind or light touch causes the bike to fall over on the kickstand. It went straight in to the garbage. Save your money, and buy the Schwinn kid's kickstand (same price) as it actually works as a kickstand.
