I am having to check my headset constantly because this plug does not stay tight on the inside of a carbon fiber it loosens up after a couple rides I noticed that about the third ride I would go check my headset and it was super loose again and the thing has pulled out I don't know get a different brands this is not the one to get but then again you get what you pay for spend a little couple extra bucks and get one that's at least three inches or more longer

This product should function fine, all it has to do is hold initial tension for headset adjustment. Then, once the stem is tightened down properly there will be no loosening as some people complain(they are doing it wrong).
