This type of trailer hitch only compatible with thule's products.
This ODIER 12.1mm axle mount trailer hitch only work with thule's bike trailer product.
Why you need more than one hitch?
A back up axle mount cup bike trailer hitch allows a second bike to tow the bike trailer without waste time on the install and uninstall. Each family member can be the towing role.
Key dimensions!
The hole diameter for axle to thru is 12.1mm.
Outer diameter of the attaching area is 28mm. (If your bike's drop out is not flat enough, please use an adapter or spacers.)
Do I need extra accessories to get the hitch attached?
Most bike only need a axle mount cup hitch
You can attach this hitch to most normal bikes.
Some bike may need QR adpater
If your QR axle bike's drop out is not flat enough, you'll need a QR adapter and extra long skewer.
High end bikes may need Thru Axle Adapter
If your bike use a 12mm thru axle, we suggest you using a thru axle adapter to get the job done.
(Our hitch support direct install with a thru axle, but if your bike is made of carbon firber, direct install may damage the bike frame!)
Get the right parts for your next ride!
We design our trailer hitch product according to famous bike trailer entity and do a lot of work to insure the compatibility. Beware of those suppliers who cannot even use real trailers when taking pictures. A poor quality hitch may not fit with your bike and easier to wear out the ball connector.

It's definitely up to the high standard that Thule sets. It's really thick gauge metal that isn't likely to bend or break anytime soon. I'm not sure it's $30 worth of metal, but it's the de facto option.

I used this with an axle from Robert Axle Project so I can tow a Thule Chariot with my bike. It works perfectly, and I have confidence it will hold up. The adapter is well made and fits perfectly. Credit to the manufacturer for taking the care and time to do it right.

I purchased this thinking I would need to DIY the adapter to fit my REI Co-Op Ebike. I was pleasantly surprised that this fit on my axel with no modifications AND still allowed me to use the Thule bike trailer I wanted. Win Win for us!
