I don't know why this got poor reviews, it did exactly what it was supposed to - last the day in costume. My Special needs teenage son wore them for a good part of the day, yes outdoors, delivering gift bags. They fit well over his size 9.5 shoes and stayed securely closed with the laces. The bottoms did not rip or wear out. It was only at the end of the day as I was removing them from his shoe that I pulled it a little too roughly and ripped part of the bottom at the seam. Then I was more careful with the rest of the removal. These can even be used at least another time again. I'm glad I didn't listen to the other reviews that said they were junk and almost didn't buy them because these really tied his clown costume together!

I guess it’s what you would expect from shoe covers. They don’t have great shape, the soles are literally foam so they will get destroyed if you wear them over shoes outside. But it did complete my Ronald McDonald costume for a low price.
