I have used these cloths on guns and to wipe down tools and knives,since I was a kid buying them at Kmart back in the 70's.They work very well to wipe things down or as a wrap for a handgun while in a carrying case or safe.They are made in The USA and are excellent quality.

Good little cloth. I use it when I'm finished cleaning my guns to wipe up any excess oils and it brings the shine back to factory appearance.

This Birchwood Casey Silicone Gun and Reel Cloth performs exactly as advertised. It's easily used and appears that it will be long lasting provided it's stored in its resealable plastic bag. It does a great job cleaning and protecting my Colt Peacemaker SAA revolver. Highly recommended.

This is a terrific product. For those who may be new to firearms, the cloth is not meant for heavy cleaning. It is meant to be used to wipe the gun down between uses and after a good cleaning. I wipe down my EDC at least every other day. It does a good job of removing fingerprints and such, and leaving a protective film. I have used it on stainless, polymer, wood and alloy with good results. By the way, the cloth is NOT supposed to be wet to the touch. You're not looking to give the gun a bath, just a wipe down. After using what may seem to be a dry cloth, you should be able to see the difference on your gun and feel the silicone on your hands. Keeping it sealed in the plastic bag from the factory (or, in a Ziploc bag), will keep it ready to go for quite some time. I have a can of pure silicone that I use once in a while just to recharge the cloth. I keep one in my cleaning kit and one in my range bag. I think that you'll be pleased with this product.

Great for keeping you gun in tip top condition. An impregnated cloth to both keep your gun dust free and give both the wood and metal sections a healthy shine. Frequent use will keep your weapon in top condition for years. Cheap, but not cheaply made.

it works great however it dried out pretty fast even though i always place it back in its pouch immediately after using it… kinda sucks but i didn't break the back and only spent $5 on it. save the wait time and get it at wal-mart.
