Perch portion barely thick enough for a small finch. Pretty but cheap. I do have finches I can use it for, but wouldn’t work for even a canary or parakeet. Should be advertised as such.

What a nice swing for the parakeets. It has visual interest in the colored, round beads and tactile interest in the bell. The wood perch is the right size and it swings easily. Best of all, the birds use it!

Completely inaccurate compared to the listing. The perch bit is TINY. It is no thicker than a pencil, certainly thinner than my finger, and is like a dowel, not even fake "natural" wood with bumps. No way anything bigger than a parrotlet or maybe a budgie could enjoy the swing I received, and we have a green cheek conure. For the price (11.49), I thought I'd be getting something at least semi decent. Not sure if I will bother returning, I may just take it apart and replace the perch or wrap it in vet tape to thicken it, or use the beads and bells and hardware on a DIY toy. So disappointing. You can see the size compared to a decent, appropriate perch and my finger in my photo.

A lot of reviewers said this swing was much smaller than they expected. I have 2 Linnies (Lineolated Parakeets), and took a chance that it would work. Glad I did. They love it! Linnies are about the size of a large parrotlet or lovebird. As usual, it took them quite a while to start using it. Pancho, the green grey-winged, got on it first. Shortly thereafter, Cisco, the cobalt blue, followed suit. (Monkey See Monkey Do). Now they climb all over the beads, hanging upside down and by one foot, trying to outdo the other. Frequently, they just sit side by side, swinging to their hearts content. The beads are similar to the ones on my beaded ladder, just smaller. The dye does come off a little bit every time I clean, but it's not toxic. I just try to be careful. Great toy.

I recieved this wing when i was told i could and it is just as explained to be. It is very colorful wich my cockatiel loves. It has the two little bells on the bottom of it which she also likes to play with when she is on or off of the swing. The perch part is very solid and easy for her to sit on. It is big enough for her with extra room so i am sure a larger bird would fit on it as well. We have had it for a few month now and she is no it several times a day and always playing with the colorful beads and you can not tell. None of the color as came off them so i am very impressed with this swing.

The swing is too big for my parakeet's bird cage, so I have it hanging about 2" off the floor on the bottom of the cage. He still loves to hop onto it and swing 2" off of the floor. He play with the bells and beads of the swing while on the floor of the cage. Colorful and well made. Natural twig for the bird's feet. Large enough for a Cockatiel bird, or Conure, however they might want to chew on the stick.

This is a really nice swing, but I was a little disappointed that the wooden perch the bird stands on is a little smaller than it looks in the picture. I perdonally feel it's too small for Lovebirds, as shown in the picture. I have Lovebirds who use perches that are bigger than this. I use this swing for my Parrotlet, who is smaller than a Lovebird. It's the perfect size for him. Other than that, it's a really nice swing . . . I recommend it, but for a very small bird.

Update: He finally took to it! It took more than a month, but I should be used to him being hesitant about new things in his play area. One day, I looked over and he was happily swinging on it. And within a few days, he had chewed all the wooden beads off of it. So, it ended up being a fun swing, it just didn't last very long for him. But that's typical. For the price, I'll probably end up ordering more of them. I'm just happy that he has finally decided that a swing is for him.
