This bit extension by Milwaukee is very durable and easy to use. I have several of them and this is the only brand that has served me well. The locking mechanism works well and stands up to the daily use I put on it. The other brands I have tried failed me each time.

This is the only quick change bit on the market that I have found, that stands the test of continuous use. No wobble, centers easily in chuck and the spring mechanism is flawless.Highly recommend.

It is a good tool, but don't use it with any type of impact I did and discovered after the experience I could not get my socket out. Was po at the tool until I read the fine print that said do not use with an impact. My fault not the tools, I bought another one to replace the one I can't get the socket out off. Remember NO IMPACTS!

Light duty use only, do not use with impact drivers. They don't hold up at all.

It would be nice if they sold the item that is displayed in the picture as I was planning on using this as an extension bar but was sent a product that was less than quarter of the length of what it's show in the photo

After waiting an entire lifetime for this to arrive it was so much shorter than in the photo that it was worthless for what I wanted it for. Beware. The item you are sent is one of the normal short bit holders rather than a longer extension.

I have the 6" & 12" extensions, also. The 3" is the best for most jobs, especially in close quarters, and where control is important. Keep some light lube oil on hand if using in damp or dusty areas. When used with an impact driver, the bit latch/ release sometimes sticks if not oiled. Great tool, hope to get years of use.
