Evidently, when I was changing the line on my weedeater, this little part fell out, never to be found. Of course the line on the weedeater no longer would work. This little part save me a lot of money. Just dropped it in and now my weedeater works like a charm again.

Figuring out why my trimmer line wasn't self-feeding anymore was what led to this purchase. My biggest problem was trying to get the right part because my part # didn't match any of the replacement parts offered. This one seemed to be the most likely replacement. Inexpensive, seems well made, easy to remove the old & install the new. Power tools are not really my thing, but it seems to be working. At least I no longer have to stop continually to refeed the line.

The only problem is most units have a rounded top on the post this unit fits on, which holds the piece in place. Works great once installed but likes to fall off when putting new spools on.
