I like it stopped birds and cats eating my fish keeping them safe from predictors and easy to fit over the pond

I use it to keep leaves off pond and to deter herons. Metal tent pegs used to hold in place (only 4 plastic pegs supplied). OK for my needs and good value.

It’s a wonderful product. (And here comes the but)1) Difficult to handle and/or install.2) Maybe be perfect for Large instillations3) stacking it down is extremely difficult: mesh holes slip over the stacks.4) is durable when it doesn’t tangle itself into a mess.

I lost several of my koi recently and when I put out a trailcam to see what was happening, I found that a large horned owl was visiting my pond in the middle of the night and helping himself to a midnight snack. I anchored eye bolts in the rocks and used small bungee cords to hold the netting in place while giving me the ability to easily remove it if I needed to. Needless to say, I have not lost a fish since.

decent netting for the season, don't know if it will last for another.

I assumed that since I was buying this from a pond store it would be made for ponds. It is just an expandable plastic net which you can buy by the foot from any hardware or Home depot for 1/4 the cost I paid. After shipping this cost me about 18 bucks. It is functional but can be a bit of a hassle to install if there are a lot of bushes around because it hooks on branches so easily, but once it's up it's fine. It is thin so it doesn't detract to much from the appearance of the pond either. All in all not bad, but pricey.

Works well for a small pond.I wish the weave was a little smaller to keep out small sized leaves.
