This is NOT a factory or replacement piece; therefore you must have the OEM molding in place for this kit to work. The trim will install with a powerful 3M adhesive for a long lasting hold. In the event you need to remove your chrome roof trim, you will just peel it back off.

It was to thin for 2014 ram 1500. It may work on certain cars, but not mine.

The strap seal really stick to the where I applied it near the roof of my vehicle. Durable material.

I decided to buy these instead of spending over $160 for the manufacturer replacements. The product appears durable and with proper surface preparation, went on firmly. My truck will be outside in Arizona so this summer will test their longevity. I treated them with a trim protector and will continue to keep them in good shape on my end.

This product was made by 3M and it is not the same shape or thicknes as the original moulding for my 2012 dodge Ram...there also wasnt enough of it for my Mega Cab.
