These are exactly what is shown and advertised. They are easy to install, and the adhesive is very strong. We used these as a headboard in the guest room, and I think it looks great. The material feels good, and looks like an actual headboard.

I used to have one of those headboards that most people are used to. It attached to the base of the bed and while taking up a good 4-5 inches of space, over time the nuts and bolts start to loosen up and lose their grip, and after moving a couple times and detaching and reattaching the headboard I would seem to lose more and more hardware every time. That's why this last time I moved, the headboard was barely even attached anymore before I took it apart, plus it was heavy and cumbersome and I decided to throw it away and figured my days of headboards are in the past. Then I found this cool style headboard that also acts as a type of noise insulator. The best part is not only do you have numerous options as far as color and design goes but these bad boys attach right to your wall and take up about a half inch of space which for me was a game changer! I love how these stylish headboard pads make my bedroom pop and I am very happy to have found my now and forever headboard!

Arrived well packaged to protect material. The color is a little different than expected. Is advertised as gray, but appears a little more taupe. Of course my lighting plays a part in that too. The material feels thick and sturdy and each board is we padded. The adhesive on the back consists of 4 pieces of foam tape around the edges. It is as easy and peel and stick. You definitely want to get the placement correct on the first try as the adhesive is very strong and will likely peel paint. There is a strong odor associated with the adhesive that will hopefully go away soon.
