This works great to thaw frozen food much quicker than if thawed in the refrigerator. Just be sure to follow the instructions supplied with the plate for best results.

This does thawed your meat but it is not as quick as the one I had and loved from Germany. You will be babysitting this to speed up the defrosting of your meat. Also, don't plan on using for a thick cut of meat.

If you are looking for a way to thaw meat without the mess this product is for you. We got so tired of our counter being wet with runoff from thawing meat. Blazin Thaw was the answer for us. The tray catches all the runoff and there is no mess. We have one at our lake condo and just received another one for home. It's simple, easy to clean and has chicken on it right now thawing for me to gill for dinner. Price was also right and it will last a very long time.

A long time ago, I learned a trick for defrosting meat quickly. Put it on an inverted iron skillet. The problem is, my iron skillet would only hold a small amount of meat. When I found this Blazin' Thaw tray, I had to try it. By golly, it works even better than the old iron skillet! I can put up to 6 burger patties on this, and in less than an hour (usually around half an hour) they are thawed enough to cook! Even a rock-hard frozen-solid chuck roast is no match for this tray. I can get the roast out when I remember it around lunch time, and by the time I need to get it on stove, it's ready to go. That makes my meal prep so much easier. The tray is a slick surface, I've never had anything stick to it, and it washes off easily. The instructions say it's dishwasher safe, but I hand wash mine as soon as I get the meat off, and it's never needed anything more, so I've never put it in the dishwasher. The silicone ends keep juices from running onto the counter, so you don't have to disinfect the whole kitchen, and they have little feet on them to keep the tray up off the surface, allowing air to circulate underneath, which helps speed thawing. I love this thing. If you're terrible at remembering to take the meat out of the freezer like I am, you need this tray!

I love to buy food in bulk and freeze, especially meats since I like a good quality of meats from specific stores that I can't always make it to. I often take meats out of the freezer and thaw them in the fridge with good intentions to cook a meal later, but with two small kids things can get thrown off.With this thawing tray I can take meats out a couple hours before cooking when I know I'll have time. It actually works. I have thawed burger patties and chicken breasts on this tray shortly before cooking. Because I left the meat in its packaging before freezing I did have to run it under cold water so that I could get the packaging off. I imagine I wouldn't have to do that if the meat had been frozen in ziplock of vacuum bags. In a couple hours I had perfectly thawed meats that were ready to cook! This tray really has saved me money and time!The only things I don't like are that the red rubber feet attachments on the ends do not stay put and the grooves in the tray collect water and take a while to dry. You can easily fix the drying issue if you turn it long ways on the dish rack, but I use dish mats.This is a great product that I recommend!

La bandeja no es muy pesada lo cual lo hace más fácil de guardar y funciona de maravilla. Para que funcione mejor, se tiene que seguir las instrucciones que son estar volteando la carne cada 15-30 min si es un corte grueso, pero para los cortes delgados no es necesario, descongela todo muy rápido. Muy recomendado para los que olvidan sacar a descongelar la comida unas horas antes de comer.
