Wuhan virus project #3: I used this product to restore the leather steering wheel on my 25 year old truck. It was easy to use and the end product was beautiful. Cleaning and preparation are key to a good outcome. I mixed the dark grey with the darkening agent and the charcoal color I wanted was almost a perfect match to the original. I did use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process. Lastly, I applied a satin finisher that was also very easy to use. Looks as good as the original and is factory new in appearance. Just followed the directions. Unfortunately, I can't post a photo here.

It's been two months since I refinished my leather chair and the finish looks the same as the day I finished the chair. I believe the sealer I applied was the key to the lasting dye job. I sealed the finish and it still looks new. What I liked best about the product was that you can remove the dye with a sponge and water if you are not satisfied with your color mixture after application. I mixed a color that I wasn't 100% satisfied with the first time. After looking at my first application, I decided to start over with a better color mixture. So after an hour I removed the first color combination and redid the finish. Worked great. After 24 hours I sealed the new finish and it still looks great.I'm notafraid to do my car seats now. It's really easy to mix your own blend. Don't over read the other dye products and get confused. This product works and I did not ruin my leather chair like I was led to believe with all the "professional" insite from the internet. Go for it. You'll save a bundle and get the quality finish that only you can provide. Satisfaction by you

I just needed a product to fill a 1/8 inch hole on the arm of a nice leather office chair.I did not buy it to do a large area.I used the filler. Let it dry. Used it again and dry. The put a small amount of the color on the "patch". It came out ok.....I am not the best at this type of work. The hole was filled somewhat. A lot of the filler drained through the padding below the leather. Guess that was to be expected.Result: Hole now has a partial fill and the color match was good straight out of the bottle. At least it will not tear further and looks ok from a distance. Going into this I did not expect a perfect, smooth finish, but I pretty much filled the hole and the color match (the darkest) was spot on. I have no idea of how it would work on a large area; but in the end it solved my issue.

A blue ink pen had leaked and a spot about the size of a dime had soaked into the seat of our tan leather loveseat. My helper (who shall remain nameless:) tried to quickly remove the ink with . . . BLEACH! Yahoo! Now there's an ink stain with a lovely white halo all around it. We lived with this for a very long time. Then I began to search for an answer. Voila! I ordered this repair kit. I watched a YouTube video on how to mix the colors and wondered if I really could get a match without messing the seat up even worse. To my surprise, it was pretty easy to match it. It covered the ink (and the halo) completely. We were very happy with the results plus it was kind of fun to do! Highly recommend and worth the purchase price!

The colors seem to be good, but the crack filler was useless as was the leather cleaner. If the leather is in poor condition, these products are worse than useless. Cracks and small holes need to be treated with a good quality vinyl fill product, like FC-1, then colored.

It looks like smeared diarrhea in natural light or in a room that has LED lights. In a darker room it doesn't look bad. It feels weird when you touch it. Our couch has the arm rests that are peeling away and that's what we bought this for. Since we like to lay down on the arm rests sometimes we didn't like the feel of this. Besides you have to be a freaking painting expert if you want to make this look good. It isn't easy and it just didn't turn out. It didn't last long either. It started peeling off like 2 weeks later. Waste of money. I ended up going to the fabric store to get upholstery fabric and my grandma turned them into nice armrest covers which look, smell, and feel 100x better than this.

Nice concept, however, I could not get the color to match the original color on my couch. I even purchased an additional kit with different color shades but still couldn't get a match. Would have been very helpful for the company to have a color guide and their recommendations for which kit to order and the ratio needed to best fit that match as a general guideline. The kit did cover up the worn spots as advertised.
