Car Installation: Tuck the battery pack up under the dashboard out of sight, using the double back tape to hold it in place if needed. Run the wire along the edge of the dash around to the top side edge of the dashboard. The LED should ideally just peak out from the edge; remember, a "low-key" appearance like this is more convincing. Works very well in a bezel mount installation and includes a 5mm LED bulb holder (see images)

The expected battery life of 2 AA batteries (not included) in CONTINUOUS USAGE is 1.5 YEARS. Blinking rate of the LED is about 1 flash per second. This flash rate mimics the speed of expensive alarm systems' LED flashing rate.

the long cord is great. other types, the cord is too short. person installing needs a good adhesive tape or putty.

If you are looking for a light that gave the illusion of high end alarm this is definitely not it. Read all of the reviews that mention that the light is very dim. They are correct.

The red LED light on this fake car alarm is bright and highly noticeable, making it effective for deterring thieves. However, the battery life may not reach the full 1.5 years if left on continuously. I noticed some dimming after just a month. I recommend turning it off when parked safely (like in a garage) to extend battery life.Overall, it’s a solid product and a reliable visual deterrent!

Like that this light blinks at the same rate an actual car alarm blinks at. It also is an easy install only requiring 2 AA batteries and an on/off switch. The cable was log enough to install where i want while being able to store the control box elsewhere. I also appreciate that this came with 3M tape

Item received in a timely manner. The device it self is compact and the light is bright. I bought two of these in separate orders. In the first order, the plastic piece that holds the light was pretty flimsy, the second one came with a more substantial holder. Not a deal breaker since I did not use it. Nice product. Recommended.
