I wanted the socks to give some relief to a foot wound and they certainly help with the pain on rough surfaces. I have something in my, foot yet to make it's way out. The soles help with grip on slippery rocks. They do not seem to affect my swimming and do keep my feet a little warmer in cold water. So I am pleased with the purchase.

These are awesome for WA April swims. Water temps are very cold during that time, and I had some pretty epic swims. Definitely recommend.

These may work fine for a triathlete training in water 60 degrees Fahrenheit or above, but for extreme cold they don't keep my feet warm. I'm now down to swimming in 56.4 degree F water and my feet are cold in the water and very cold when I get out.

These swim socks are brilliant. Easy to put on and off, keeping the feet warm, they are my faithful winter swimming companions. Very happy about the purchase!

I bought these 3 mm neoprene socks for cross country skiing and also for running in cold weather or rain. I have used them for both sports this fall and they are excellent - no blisters or other problems, and the 3 mm is just the right thickness so I fit in my running shoes and xc ski boots.

These really do the job in cold water. I swim 1h in 50 degree water and although my feet are not warm, they are not cold either. Good protection against the rocks and branches out of the water.

When looking at this sock's size ranges on the blueseventy.com website, the SMALL fits sizes 4 to 8 and the LARGE is defined as fitting over size 8. The size LARGE could be more precisely defined as fitting sizes 8 to 12.Would it not be great if Blueseventy made this sock in three size ranges:SMALL fits sizes 4 to 8MEDIUM fits sizes 8 to 12LARGE fits sizes over 12, or more precisely defined as fitting sizes 12 to 16My son has a size 13 foot and can not wear the large. I am a size 14 and I've been using the size LARGE for 5+ years and my toes are cramped. Quite frankly, I'm tired of wearing socks that are too small regardless of their otherwise superior construction.A good fit for me would definitely garner a 5 star rating.
