INSTALLATION DETAILS

To prevent the bicycle from moving, Screw must be tightened to fix the red cradle

Do not buy this, and I wouldn’t buy from this seller. I got mine to drive cross country, it arrived and the box had so much packaging tape over the top and bottoms don’t think it was even new. There was a broken latch that the strap goes through when I opened it. Then I tried it anyway and the straps don’t hold, they don’t hold tight. Is you pull on it they just loosen, wouldn’t be able to put a bike on it anyway.

The strips are poorly designed. You hook the end to the car's edge, but the strip itself won't hold. it keeps getting loose. Huge safety hazard due to a simple manufacturing and/or design issue. I am returning this item.

The item is pretty simple but without instructions, had to rely on photos and common sense to securely strap the item on. First, had to figure out up from down. Next, had to figure out which was inside and which was outside. Then, what to do with the six straps. Needs to come with instructions or a video.I was a bike rack newbie so after calling a friend, we got it sorted out. We got to destination and back without the bikes falling off or damaging our wagon.Otherwise, it seemed like a good value bike rack but not what I would consider a heavy duty one. Fine for two bikes which it was designed for.

I got this to hold two bikes. After tring to put it on my vehicle (the hooks don't stay on and the adjustable straps don't stay tight), and putting the first bike on the rack it fell off the vehicle. After putting it back on and trying to add the second bike it dropped right off and hit the ground. Not a very stable rack and doesn't stay attached. Very poor instructions and already put together when I got it - maybe used?

Ordered this bike rack for our SUV. The components are cheap, and it will shift around on the back of your vehicle, no matter how secure you tighten the cheap straps. This results in it scratching and denting the trunk of your vehicle. By the first time we had used this piece of junk, it was already past the return window. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this.

Poor instructions. The product itself isn't bad, once you figure out how to set it up and use it. You absolutely need to watch a YouTube video to figure this thing out though. The official one is...https://youtu.be/OZ_cU0dwudgBut, I actually like this one better because it is more specific...https://youtu.be/XiZ8ZgeB34QOne of the mistakes I made before seeing a how-to video was that I put some of the red things on backwards (no clear instructions in the box) which makes it very difficult to hook and unhook the black rubber straps, and I can't get the black rubber stoppers at the end of the 2 poles off to flip them around! So make sure they are facing getting right way before putting the end caps on. Also, the video shows the right way to thread the straps through the buckles, this way super helpful. One thing I like about the second video is how he counts it lower on the vehicle so the lisence plate and rear window are not obstructed, this way you can even use your rear windshield wipers and open the hatchback if needed.

I got it last week for my car and its perfectly fine and stable when installed, great for mountain bikes. The straps that hold the bikes in a really nice thick rubber. The bike are very secure and I feel safe taking my bikes for long trips. Would definitely recommend
