I've boougth this as a re placement for a similar 150A breaker. Both breakers are visually same from outside which cannot be the case as one is rated 200A and other 150A. Both are tripping at only 100A after 10 minutes, so both have false rating. Just do not buy those unless you want 100A breaker. I've replaced it with T Tocas 150A breaker which has UL approval (and some other) and also printed trip and derating curves on the box. It was tested with 110A discharge current for 3 hours and did not even got worm. I cannot fully test it as I cannot produce 160A at what value it should trip after some time. Do not understand why Amazon keep selling those bad items and why those have so many good reviews. Save your time and keep it safe.

I do a lot of 12V projects and fuses just get tiring having to replace them if and when they blow. With this breaker, if it trips, all you have to do is reset it. So convenient. I did test this with a heat gun hooked up to a battery and inverter. The low setting on the heat gun draws 62 amps from the battery. While this did not trip after several minutes at 62 amps, when I turned the heat gun to high, ~124 amps, the breaker shut off after just a few seconds.

When you read a review sometimes you think they might be just a "one" off, probably should have taken them in more consideration. We received the unit (well packaged/wrapped) and as soon as it came out of the box, the plastic started to fall apart (brittle). This is very dangerous as your dealing with electricity, the plastic and item is defective and should be pulled from anyone using purchasing it- please be aware.

I installed a lift on my pickup that uses a lot of amps for the motor. I wanted some sort of protection for the wire, and came upon this small braker. It is small enough to go most anywhere (I have it on my battery box, will secure it with screws), and when I'm not using the lift, I can simply push the red button on top of the breaker, and it disconnects. Simple to restore by just pushing the red lever back into the body of the breaker. NICE!!!

I added two 12 Volt batteries to my golf cart to run Lights, Stereo, Bluetooth and accessories without draining the operational driving batteries. This 50 amp circuit breaker allows me the ability to connect / disconnect the accessory batteries without affecting the drivability of my golf cart.
