I have an old Yamaha receiver that I have been debating on throwing away. It was for surround sound and I don’t use it and havent for a long while. It’s been just sitting in my garage taking up space. Well I found this little bugger and man does it work nice. Plugged it in found it on my phone immediately and bam! Music galore coming out of the receiver and it still sounds good. Well needles to say my garage will be wired for sound and it’s going to rock like a freaking stadium in there. Man my neighbors are going to hate me.I don’t know what your situation is but if you need a Bluetooth receiver for something this works really good. Plus it’s cheap as heck so buy it and be happy. This bluetooth usb device works perfectly for my application: I have an older car and its bluetooth built-in system is garbage. I like this thing because I can plug it into a usb port hanging off the 12v port, and when the car turns on the bluetooth turns on, and vice versa. Many bluetooth to aux devices have batteries, which is nice for headphones, but in a car, you want the thing to turn off when the car turns off. This one does that.I've used it for a few hours and the sound quality is better than the one I've been using previously. It also has a nice play/pause button on it, so you can stop the audio without touching the phone.I do not know if the usb port can be used to send audio to a car stereo - I'm only using it to route audio from my phone (via bluetooth) and then to a 3.5mm aux cable into my car stereo. The aux port connector is solid and there's no static due to poor connector.Overall this device is a "buy" if you need to convert bluetooth audio input into aux 3.5mm audio output.

I got this USB-A powered Bluetooth adapter for the car to use with an audio cassette adapter to listen to podcasts and some music through the car speakers. It works well for that, connecting after a second or two to the phone. I like its compactness and using USB-A for power. Sound quality is good, with bass and clear high-end. It connected fine to my older Android smartphones with Bluetooth 4.2. Button on unit acts as play/pause and next track (double-press), though is so small it's not practical to use often. This is an OK value, with some rough parts (microphone, USB-based mp3 playback).Issues:- Microphone wasn't that good, and poor at a couple of feet away, so I won't be enabling phone calls on this.- Earbuds lacked bass, probably due to their lower impedance. It sounded fine through amplified speakers.- USB playback via virtual mp3 files didn't work well, with lots of choppiness (3.5mm audio jack sounded fine). Connected to a PC or other player it appears as a USB drive with three mp3 files that you can play, which play back as the audio you're playing over Bluetooth. Interesting concept.- Rattled a little bit (I stuffed a couple of small bits of foam inside to quiet it).

This product was very disappointing. It was not hard to hook up, but once hooked up, it sounded horrible. I tried to record how bad the sound was, but the cutting in and out didn't allow for a short enough video. The sound was as if you were listening to radio station at the edge of it's range. The sound comes in, goes away with crackle, comes back goes away. Overall just not even close to usable product. In addition, with the design of my car, the device needed to be installed in an upside down position, making it impossible to see the light, work the button, or safely do any hands free calling unless stopped.

No more static! I have an older car with a CD player and no Bluetooth option, I've been using a Bluetooth to FM transmitter for the past few years, but finding a clear FM station in my area is hard. I was frustrated getting static while listening to Spotify through my iPhone. Well, my car does have a USB port in the center console, so I ordered this unit, plugged it in and it synched easily with my phone and plays through the old stereo through the Line in/USB port. I've been using it for the past few days, and even taking a 150 mile trip using it and it seems to work as advertised, and best thing - no more static!

Did not work for us. Tried on the computer and in the car. Was able to connect the phone to it, but in the car you need a second source for powering up the device, which isn’t really what I was expecting. Didn’t work on the computer. Device turn on and connects but no sound. Got this for my husband, so we’re both pretty disappointed.
