This product is 1/4 too tall and one of the corners is too sharp and thus does fit snugly in the opening.

This did not fit as it has a wrong radius on the top left hand corner. I am planning to return it.

To be fair it was advertised as imitation leather, but it looked more like a plastic material. My advice is spring for real leather. I sent it back and was credited

High quality OEM replacement boot. installs in seconds. still looks new after nearly a year installed. I also sourced a short shift know M3 OEM and the setup looks great. after 10 years of driving these parts wear and are very visible in the center of your console. for under 100 you improve the interior immensely. highly recommend.

The Gear Shift Boot arrived a couple days earlier than the estimate which seems to be the case with everything I order from Amazon. I watched a couple of internet self-help videos on how to change this part and it looked easy enough. No tools required. I changed it in 1-2 minutes and it looks and feels identical to the factory original, only not ripped. I also priced the new boot at BMW and it was more expensive, so I am satisfied with this product and would purchase it again.

This looks great! I bought it when I wanted to sell my car. My old one was ripped and I wanted to get it fixed before I showed it. This worked great and looks good in the bmw 323i. Snapped right into place. Very easy install and made snug.
