Installed the prop. Went out on the water, 30 minutes from the landing the spinel bushing spun inside the prop. We had to limp at idle speed back to the landing.

The aluminum is all gritty at the break, it wasn't cast right. Its defective. I'm going to look at getting my money back for it. Its a brand new prop, you can see there is very little damage to the other two blades. The grain should be smooth if it had been cast correctly. Its not it is gritty, making it very weak. I already ordered a replacement before I got to see the prop, its for my elderly stepfathers boat that we share, in another county. I just got back from his house and got to see the prop. I bought it as a backup and its been in the box until the other day when I installed it on the boat.

The prop looks. I bought it to have as a spare when i am out on the water. It provides a peace of mind knowing i have a backup it my main prop gets damaged.

I've kept this prop on my boat for over a year as an emergency backup, I recently decided to put it on after the original prop developed a crack. In less than 30 minutes of running at open throttle in a light chop with a moderately loaded semi-v skiff and a 30 hp outboard the hub slipped and I had to limp back to the dock. Perhaps I got a lemon, but I would not recommend.
