I like the driveshaft, the Universal joints, yolks and diameter of the driveshaft are factory specs, however, mine came in 2 inches longer than the description says making it impossible for it to fit, secondly the slip yolk is for something else, not the transmission it says it’s for, I have the same transmission in my truck and the new slip yolk is twice the size of the factory one and will in no way fit, so now I have to wait longer while my work truck is down and could be making money but instead I’m spending more money trying to fix a mistake that seems pretty common with this driveshaft from what I’ve read in the comments

Corrected 2 problems on my 2002 Silverado. Easier than replacing U joints plus get a new drive shaft. Be sure to measure from center of front to center of back U joints to get proper fit

This is the third driveshaft I have tried in my truck. This driveshaft is the only one that would work for me. I highly recommend this product. The u joint is held into the drive shaft with c clips on the inside of the shaft. This in my opinion is better than a stock driveshaft. Reasonable price for the quality. Very heavy duty. I would purchase again👍

2002 GMC Sierra slt 4x4 Z71 off road extended cab. I don't remember the wheelbase. But definitely a good replacement part for. The daily driver and yes it will work for. The Chevrolet Silverado both are GM 😊

I put this on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, extended cab, 4x4, automatic trans, 143.5” WB. Fits perfect and after an extensive test drive everything holds up. No vibrations while driving. Compared to other prices, getting this one with a 3 year warranty added on is a no brainer to me. If anything fails I’ll be sure to update my review, but if it’s still 5 stars it’s still going strong!

Yoke measures too large which keeps it from entering the 4L60e rear case. But, even much more important, the yoke has a coarse lathe turned finish. You can feel the lathe tool grooves by running a fingernail over the surface. My bet is that they missed the final step of grinding and polishing the yoke. Even if I was able to beat this yoke in, the rough surface would quickly destroy the seal. The surface of a yoke is suposed to have a polished finish. I bought this from a "Made in China" seller to save a few bucks. It ended up costing me far more than a US made driveshaft would have by the time I bought a new yoke. Lesson learned.

Prop shaft fit nicely, spline count is correct for 4L60E transmission. Direct bolt in. I recommend seal replacement for best results, to prevent leakage of trans fluid. It seems to have reduced the vibrations at highway speed. The prop shaft also is narrower than the original aluminum shaft giving additional clearances all around for fuel tank removal in the event of fuel tank removal. The only downside thus far, is that there are no grease fittings in the u-joints, for periodic maintenance.
