This works beautifully for my stretching and strengthening exercises from PT. The only negative is that it is very stiff and sorta hurts my hands.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have been looking for a second stretch strap for around the house. I like to have two so if both my husband and I are stretching, we both have a strap. Also, sometimes things can disappear for a time or so, so to have another one in the house is a good thing all the way around. My second strap became a different work out tool during these months of COVID so we only have one available right now. This is made of a sturdy woven NON stretching material. It is very well made. Each loop is sewn extremely well. It is not going to fall apart as I use it over and over.It is 6 feet long. There are a total of 10 loops which includes the very top and very bottom of the strap. My bare foot fits in each loop easily and comfortably. My hands fit just as comfortably in the loops. I wear a size 10.5 or so women's shoe and am 5'7. I can easily stretch my hamstrings. I can put my foot in the top loop and stretch it that way or put my foot in one of the middle straps and hold on to both sides of the strap to stretch. It is very versatile.I love that they give you a booklet (not just a photocopied paper) of different stretches to do with the strap. What this is not: My other stretching strap is a yoga strap. What this one does not have is the D ring. I find this nice in my stretching because I don't have to play with the D ring. I use my yoga strap in certain meditation poses. In these poses the D ring is very helpful and not as easily achievable with this stretch strap unless I tie the strap in a light knot which I have done and it has worked. This is NOT a yoga strap it is a static stretch strap.

It’s so good to stretch your body, not just as physical therapy after an injury, but everyday in the morning, evening, and before/after exercise. This non-elastic Body Strap makes stretching simple and effective. This 6’ woven nylon strap is an inch wide. It actually consists of two straps sewn together: a 6’ lower layer and an upper layer which has 10 loops spaced every 6 inches. The upper loops are actually about 7” in length so they stick up from the bottom layer about a half inch on each side. The loops are large enough to get an adult foot with shoe on through them (it at least works for my husband’s size 10.5 shoe). It is designed by an American company but is made in China. The strap comes with a book which shows how to use the strap to perform 19 different stretches with muscles throughout your body (hamstrings, quads, hip flexors, inner and outer thighs, hips, biceps, and triceps). It’s useful not just for isotonic exercises (where you have visible movement such as muscular contraction) but also isometric (where there is no visible movement, you’re just holding your body in a fixed position). What I like about this strap:- The strap feels sturdy and seems like it will be durable over time.- The construction is good with no missed stitching, fraying, or rips.- This works for a variety of heights for people since it is 6 feet long.- It is easy to get a good grip with this strap. Even with sweaty hands, it doesn't feel like this will slip.- The book’s descriptions of the exercises are pretty easy to follow and most of them also have pictures of what it’s supposed to look like.- The instructions say which loop to use to do a particular exercise and where to place the strap on your body. Following them, it is better than without the strap where you may push your body beyond what is necessary to get a good stretch, or maybe even what is safe.safer for injuries or for those who might push range-of-motion beyond what is necessary to get an adequate stretch in various areas (note: you still may push yourself too much even using this strap, if you feel any pain stop immediately). What I don’t like as much:- Some exercise straps are a bit wider (an inch and a half), which may be easier for people with larger hands (while this may be good for smaller hands).Overall, I recommend this strap. It gives me a good stretch and I know I am holding my hands at the proper distances. As with all exercise, check with doctor to make sure it’s safe for you.
