As far as this product; yeah, it’s good. Strong, looks great, functional. Let’s took about the tool itself. Why didn’t I have these 20 years ago?!? The scars on my knuckles wouldn’t be there.

These joint attachments are going to be a great addition to my toolbox, and they arrived at a reasonable time.

Bought this knowing it has defects. I needed a cheap impact jointed socket, before I abuse it, I mean use it, I will see if i can flare the pins on both sides to prevent it from walking out. I'll post updates if I get it to work.UPDATEWelp, like all the others reported, the pin came out after about 5 seconds of impact use. I had to remove a transmission bolt and bracket and it was a tight spot (circled in my last image), the whole reason getting the ujoint. I noticed that the pin was sticking way out, and I put the pin back in as it should be. I took a 2lb ballpeen hammer, and hit the pin several times on both sides hoping to peen the pin. I was able go to back to my task at hand and it held up for another 15 seconds of Milwaukee medium impact wrench on #2. Those of you know what this means when you use the that tool, its a mighty impact wrench. I'd suggest you try the ballpeen hammer trick it might help you get through your project. I removed 2 stars, for the price I don't expect Snap-on quality. Its good knowing its not perfect.

You don't need a swivel joint often, but when you do, it's usually about the only thing that will reach. My last set are over 30 years old and the springs and ball detents are long expired. They flop and fall over.Out of the bag, these replacements seem pretty reasonable quality for the low price point. There's a good middle ground to find between nice and thin but weak, and nice and strong but bulky. These appear to have landed in a good spot. The ball detents work nice and grip firm. The drive shanks have support at the base so as not to snap of as easily. They stand up straight and don't flop about. At the same time, they articulate smoothly.I noticed that the end pieces can sit slightly off center to the center block. This is because there is only one tension spring on one side of the pin. It bothered me a little but it's barely notifiable and I can't see how it will make any difference in function. After all, these are made to wobble about. The weak point if any of course will be the pin. Visually they look a decent diameter on the ends, but it's impossible to see how big the diameter is going through the center block.Overall a good value for something you rarely need, but is important to have when you do.

There is a spring at each pin keeping the joints loaded. It uses friction to make the joint stiffer and not just relying on the press fit for position management. Great feature. Easy to adjust and hold appraoch angle. For larger sockets, weight will begin to overpower it, but for what they are designed for, the exceed expectation. Probably gonna buy another set.

Given the price of these adapters, I wasn't expecting a lot. I am not a mechanic in daily need of these, though am in the middle of a timing belt and related components change out on an older Nissan Frontier. So when I can't do without a specific tool I often purchase what's needed on Amazon.Upon receiving and after initial use, I have to say that I'm honestly blown away by the quality. The knuckles stay in place when positioned, the bodies are well machined and coated, and overall build quality is quite robust. I've hit the 1/2-inch adapter with my impact gun a few times and the tool has not become loose or fallen out of spec. I highly recommend these adapters for seasoned amateurs and professionals alike.
