Identical replacement for my 1975 John Deere tiller. It’s not very quiet, but it wasn’t quiet in 1975 either. Don’t expect a quiet engine using a 50 year old design. I’m happy with it.

For two years i thought i had a major issue with my snowblower.. it would run,.. it would run like crap.. back and fourth.. this year i was giving it my last attempt and at the same time looking at used blowers online.. had it running in the garage and it started running like crap.. happen to have a AWL in my hand and think i said a cuss word and stabbed the muffler through the holes.. poof.. it ran great.. took the awl out and sputter sputter.. few times and i realized the factory muffler, well something let loose inside and was blocking the path of exhaust.. dumb luck finding this one..
