I like this IPEX to SMA adapter. It lets me perform SWR tests on the entire antenna and pigtail assembly. I can trust not only my antenna, but my wiring to the antenna.

I needed a way to extend an IPEX connector to SMA, which can be mounted to a project box, and allow me to use and test various antennae for the application. I experienced no signal loss or degradation and they all snap right into an IPEX connector.

The U.FL connector is too loose for a reliable connection. The reference material I've found shows the center pin should be 0.5mm +/- 0.06mm and should extend to the height of the outer shield of the connector.But on these adapters, the center pin is not nearly 0.5mm but instead comes to a point. And it is also below the height of the outer shield of the connector.While this might work for some connectors, of the 10 I tried, none of them were secure and none of their connections were stable.

Well made cables with right-angle SMA jacks.Use to upgrade a WiFi router internal cable to an external jack for an antenna, Power Line repeater access point to external antenna (my use).Also good for your NanoVNA test/evaluation board.IPX connectors are not good for multiple connect/disconnect cycles. I was wondering how to extend the life of mine for training purposes.
