I received the equipment in perfect condition, but it was very fragile. The first time I used it I ended up breaking it. I think it should have been of better quality.

This stand holds a good amount of weight without buckling. The rotation is very nice, as is the fact that it can hold both tablets and books depending on whether or not the page holders are used. The parts are very nicely finished and a beautiful color. I would absolutely get one of these as a gift for someone, but this one I'll be keeping for my own kitchen!

I needed something to hold papers or books when I am in front of a computer. If the paper is laying in front of me, I pick it up regularly to see what it says. With this stand I can set the correct angle for reading the paper.It's heavy (a good thing), looks good, and it's made of quality materials. There's a little nook for holding pens or highlighters on the base. The little page holders are small enough to not interfere with reading, but are strong enough to hold down a thick book that like to close itself if it's not held down properly. They are easy to adjust for any thickness, down to a single paper. If you don't need the page holders you can fold them behind the stand. The little rubberized ledge does a good job of holding the book on the stand. The stand adjusts both vertically and horizontally (with satisfying clicks when rotating it). I will use this both for work and leisure reading.

Love this book holder for both practical use in the kitchen for cookbooks/recipes or for propping up work for transcriptions etc. when typing and also for decorative use on a coffeetable or similar. Very nice looking but also very stable. Does not have the wobble a lot of others I've used get when the display is tilted forward. This also lays flat which a lot of others do not do. Which means you have a real range-of-motion on this thing so you can save yourself a lot of neck and eye strain. Non-slip base keeps it in place even with a good amount of weight on it. A really helpful and nice-looking tool.

I ordered the Mayhas Book Stand for Reading in Walnut with the Wood Base; and, it is very best. I currently have a smaller, less well made stand that I use in my kitchen to hold my cookbooks while I'm cooking, but it will not always hold the cookbook in place, and I'm always trying to stack something on the book pages to hold it in place until I'm finished. Some of my recipe's however are actually in either a 2" or 3", 3-ring binder where I place each recipe in a sheet protector, and then categorize the recipes under various sections on a table of contents page. And, needless to say, my binder style recipe file, while so useful, handy, and valuable to me and my family, gets heavy and most book reading stands won't hold it's weight. But this wonderful stand did. The base where you put your book is walnut wood and it is large enough that I can easily place one of my large, 3-ring binders on it, open the binder to the page I want, and then easily keep the pages in place by using the clamps attached to the book stand to hold pages in place. This is such a nice book stand, however, I also wanted to see if it could be used for other home tasks. So, I tried using it to hold my tablet and it was great for that also. Because this book reader is adjustable to so many heights, as well as it rotates 360 degrees, I easily got my tablet into the right position for viewing. This is a wonderful book reader stand whose uses are wide, and I rate it easily a 5 out of 5.
