My son is 9 and on the spectrum. Last year, he began wanting to wear a hat every day. His OT said she found him to be more focused with the hat and had a feeling he noticed that it block out some of the overwhelming visual stimulation for him. We had it put into his plan for the use of a daily hat. He chooses a baseball cap to help him focus. This hat is durable. The last one he had last him over 6 months with daily use. It’s stylish and not too big for my preteens head. The price is extremely fair, especially for a mom who will be purchasing a few a year!

I am impressed with the fabric quality 100% cotton. The red is a beautiful bright red. My almost 4 year old son loved it immediately. I like how it sits on his head as well. Recommend.

The brim is slightly crooked so it feels a little wonky. My son loves red so we just kept it and hope with wear we can even it out.

The stitching is good, the peak is good and the strap is good. If you were hesitant like I was don’t be. It’s a good cap for its purpose.
