Your cart is empty.The Bosch GAL18V6-80 6-Bay Fast Charger delivers at least 40% faster charging than Bosch standard 18V chargers with CORE18V® 8 Ah battery. The 6-bay charging design allows users to sequentially charge six Bosch 18V batteries. It uses an 8-Amp charging current, for 4x the charging current vs. the GAL18V-20 standard charger. This fast-charging operation charges a spent CORE18V® 4 Ah battery to 80% in 32 minutes and to 100% in 50 minutes. Engineered with regulated dual-mode charging, it charges a battery fast while maintaining overall battery health. The first 80% of charge is fast, while the remaining 20% in long-life mode. Also, it uses active air-cooling, with a charger-cooling fan that optimizes charging. It has an error indicator to alert the user if charging is interrupted due to temperature and/or battery failures. The five-LED battery-status indicator provides charging status. It features a cord wrap and carrying handle for storage and transportation versatility. This flexible charging solution is compatible with Bosch 18V batteries and the AMPShare™ System.

Love having all my batteries in one spot and having them fully charged when i need them. Wish it was wall mountable. Other than that it’s great!

This six bay charger is awesome. As an all Bosch craftsman, I have a ton of batteries. Being able to charge six batteries at a time, ensures I have enough ongoing capacity to work long days and never run out of juice. Also, the fact that they charge vertically allows you capacity for six batteries in the space it'd take for three horizontal chargers. I would 100% buy this again and highly recommend it to anyone who primarily uses Bosch tools.

only used a couple times so far, but so far seems like is going to be worth it.not sure I like the 80% charge cycle yet, but it was quick on several 8 Ah batteries that were down to 20%.

For those with Bosch tools and more than a couple of batteries, this is a great addition to your toolbox. It portable and not only compatible with many generations of Bosch18v batteries but also compatible with AMPShare batteries which is a battery technology shared with numerous other companies.The charger will cycle around all six battery ports and do an initial quick charge to 80% which helps to keep you working. It will then cycle around again to charge all batteries to 100%. It does this one battery at a time, not simultaneously. The charger also allows selection of any of the six ports for charging prioritization. It allows has indicator lights so you know how much power each battery has (each of the 5 lights per port indicate 20% increments of capacity).I appreciate that I can place my 6, 18v batteries to charge and leave the charger to do it’s work then come back after a few hours and everything is charged. I used to have to monitor and charge each individual one at a time. This charger can tackle them all and does not get hot.As with any charger, don’t leave the batteries in them for storage and don’t charge them to 100% if you are not planning to use the batteries for a while. This will help extend the life of your batteries.

I'm not sure why I hadn't purchased this before. I have a small army of Bosch 18v tools and many batteries. I'm a home improvement enthusiast and love projects around the house, but I'm not a pro and don't do this for a living. I usually just swap batteries as I used them up and then recharge them later, swapping them in and out of a few chargers I have on a bench. Inevitably I forget to keep up on it and end up having to wrap up the next day (or later).This last month I was working on a large project where I had 5 or 6 tools active at once. I had this charger plugged in and just dropped in the batteries I as used them up, then would grab a fully charged one back out as needed. I never need to even think about charging.This charger works by doing a round-robin charge cycle, so it starts the first battery and brings it to about 80% (I think, less than 100%), then moves onto the next, etc. Then it will cycle back and finish the charge to 100% as they sit there. Each slot has a button where you can specify to charge that specific battery. It does NOT charge them all at once, but that's fine. I also like how the cord wraps up around the handle. It makes storing super-easy. And, it's reasonably priced - if you ever need to charge more than 2 or 3 batteries in a day, just get this. It makes it so much easier.

If you have multiple tools and a large project this is life changing. Price is reasonable IMO. A single charger will cost at least 50 so a 6 charger for 100 and it works great is fantastic. Keep at the work site and just put the batteries in, an hour or so later, all charges.I have 6 batteries (4 original but different generations and 2 Bosch compatible) and 5 tools (so far :)). We just bought a new place and this has made the repairs and renovation so much easier

This charger has so many good features:- six bays- easy to pack and move around, cord wraps around handle- sequential fast charging of each battery up to 80%- then sequential slow charging of each battery up to 100%- 5 segment LED display for each battery, so you can accurately see the state of charge- because the fast-charging sequence stops at 80%, I can easily charge the batteries to 80% level before putting them away for storage. (Li-ion batteries last much longer if you store them at 80% charge rather than 100% charge – suppresses dendritic electrode growth.) This is my favourite feature – very good for battery health.- works with older and newer generation Bosch batteriesHighly recommend for anyone who has multiple Bosch 18V tools.
