So I ordered the 10", but I think the measurements are a little off. I've attached an image of my Trophy Ridge 7" and a 3" extension next to the NoxDyn stabilizer that is supposed to be 10". This 10" stabilizer seems more like an 11" or 12" stabilizer. Not that I am complaining, the length difference just threw me for a loop when I compared them since it seemed longer than it should have been. From a shooting perspective, no issues. The NoxDyn stabilizer seems to be around the same weight as my Trophy Ridge 7, even with the extra length - so there was not a lot of time needed to get used to shooting with the new stabilizer on. Now I do wish there was just the slightest bit of more adjustability in where the weight sits on the stabilizer. Looking at the Trophy Ridge, you can see that there are three separate spots to adjust how the weight feels, by either moving a weight forward or back, or by increasing the weight on the end. However, with the NoxDyn this is only available at the end where you can adjust the weight or slide the end weight back or forward. So if you are looking for a lot of adjustability for an ultimate tune-in on your bow, this may not be what you are looking for. However, if you just need a slightly longer stabilizer with a little weight on the end, then this may very well fit the bill.

This stabilizer does make a difference. It isn't magic, but for the money I would order it again.

I read several reviews before ordering this. Some of them said that it worked well as a dampener but not as a stabilizer. But I also noticed that the ones who said it wasn’t a good stabilizer got the shorter version….I got the 10 inch dampener/stabilizer for my 20-70lb compound bow which is 34 inches tip to tip/cam to cam and only weighs 2.7 lbs fully loaded with necessary equipment. So the 10 inch works great for me and looks awesome too. If my bow were longer and or heavier I would have ordered one of the longer versions.I’ve been shooting bows for just over 39 years straight and this is one of the very best dampener/stabilizer in one in this price range. In fact it performs as good or better than other stabilizers that I paid 2-3 times as much for.If you are able to match your bow with the right length of this 2in1 accessory I assure you that you will have zero regrets. And yes I’d highly recommend this any archer no matter their skill level. Just make sure to match it with your bow!!!!!Ps. Before attaching this 2in1, my groupings were good and I could only shoot about 50 times before my wrist and elbow would begin to ache. After attaching this 2in1 my groupings are extremely tight and I can shoot to my hearts desire(which is never really more than 100-120 on any given day).

I'm, not enough of an archer to see a big difference in my shot, but it appears to have stabilized my shooting some.

I have a lot of bows and I shoot a lot. I've tried a lot of different stabilizers but once I found these I was happy with the results and believe they're well worth the money! Don't hesitate if you're thinking about it, just buy one!

Excellent stabilizer, I put it on my Hoyt Nexus and it feels particularly good. The shaft is made from a carbon fiber tube with billet aluminum end caps. The total weight of the shaft is around 60 grams. This tube defines the total length of the stabilizer. The shock absorber is the piece on the end, and it's made of aluminum with a steel weight in the middle and a rubber dampener around the weight. The total weight of this piece is 60 grams as well. The shock absorber seems to work very well. Now, between the shaft and the shock absorber, there is an insert with two extra weights. Each weight is around 30 grams, and you can remove or add these weights at your will, varying the total weight of the whole stabilizer between 120 and 180 grams to match your bow setup, which is a great feature. I'd prefer it if they would allow a more fine grain weight adjustment in 20 grams increments, but it's okay as it is right now. It would be also nice to have an extensible shaft to vary the length of the entire stabilizer, but as it is setup right now - it's perfect for my bow, so I do not have any regrets or concerns. End to end, it's a very well-made stabilizer with adjustable weight, which feels great, looks great, and works great. Highly recommended!Bottom line:The NoxDyn stabilizer is made of carbon-fiber tube with aluminum end caps. It weighs around 120 grams, with additional weights that can be added or removed to adjust the total weight between 120 and 180 grams in 30 grams increments. While finer weight adjustment would be appreciated, I still highly recommend it due to its effectiveness, appearance, and adjustability. Solid 5 stars product!Pros:1. High-quality construction.2. Real carbon-fiber shaft.3. Adjustable weight between 120g and 180g.4. Effective shock absorber.5. Overall excellent performance.Cons:1. Limited weight adjustment increments.2. Non-extensible shaft.
