The material feels funky when you take it out of the package. Doesn’t feel like black out curtains so we will see. They’re definitely not sheer so hopefully it will keep the sun out. The design is very cute and it’s what my son wanted. I’m VERY disappointed in the size of the curtains. I got the 42” and let me tell you, they are exactly 42 inches. They JUST cover the window. I was hoping since they are blackout curtains they would keep the sun out but the fact they barely cover the window, the sun peeks in at the sides and the middle where they’re split. So if you want a little extra coverage, definitely order a bigger size.
