How To Use
1. Pre-heat the grill for 15 minutes to 500°F
2. Fill a small container with water to dip the brush in between brushing sessions.
3. Work along the grates in small sections. Dipping the brush in water as needed.
4. Once done, allow the grill to cool down. And wipe the grates with a damp cloth.

Long enough to keep my hands from getting burnt while I clean a hot grill (I clean them hot because I think it cleans better).

I’ve been using this grill brush to clean a gas grill and a pellet grill for just over a month. I bought it to replace the brushes I had been using that were no longer viable.I had a metal bristle brush, but had to stop using it when it started shedding metal bristles. Nobody wants to bite down on a piece of metal wire that has embedded itself into their food (obviously). I also had a natural bristle brush that was marketed as long lasting and safer than metal bristles. It was the second, but not the first. It clogged and shed bristles within a few weeks, becoming useless quickly.So, when I saw this design, I was hopeful that it would combine the scrubbing power of a metal brush with the added safety of no bristles. So far, it has done a decent job of cleaning, but not as good as true bristles.It has held up very well to the burned on residue of barbecue sauce, etc that I’ve used it to clean off, and it doesn’t have too much of an issue with clogging. Overall, it works well enough that it is part of my regular grill scrubbing routine. It isn’t effective enough to be the only tool I use, however. If you want a single tool, I would probably go with a nylon bristle brush with an attached scraper. If this had embedded nylon bristles, it would be perfect.
