We are repurchasing this product; the last one we purchased was in 4-2015. Unlike other companies, the printer cartridge does not have expiration dates. What a great deal!

If you want the best looking print jobs and no messes in your printer, only buy Brother replacement cartridges. I have tried to save a few dollars on the so-called replacements brands and have had problems with all of them. Keep your Brother printer working for many years without service problems caused by toner dumps. Go with the OEM cartridges.

I went to fit one of the colour Cartridges today and they do not fit. The plastic lugs at the back of the cartridge do not align with the printer and so it does not go into the printer cradle.In the advertisement on Amazon and on the box it says it fits Brother MFC-9340CDW. On the box it specifically lists Brother MFC-9340CDW. It DOES not, See Photos. DO NOT BUY.I did not need to replace the cartridge until today and then find the Amazon return cut off is 11 Dec, not long after I bought it. It is dishonest advertising and effectively no return for a part that was never going to fit the printer. So much for 'genuine' Brother parts and Amazon standing by the product they sell. I would give no stars if that was possible.

No surprises. It's not a "reconditioned" or "compatible" cartridge but the proper factory original one. Yes, they are pricey but at least you know it will work and if it didn't you'd get your money back.

We have had to purchase new ink cartridges several times over the years and we stick with Brother brand because it’s such good print quality. We have never had any issues and seems to last us a long time. The print colors are so much brighter and more vivid than others.

I don't go through more than one set of laser printer cartridges in a year so I am willing to pay the price for the Brother cartridges for my MFC-9130 color all in one. I have never had a problem with these cartridges.

I tried my hand at some replacement on my older ink jet and it was a waste. I did not bother on the copies with this laser printer. BTW black has standard yield only. The color cartridges have high yield. I do not know why this is, given that black should have been high capacity.Also like my ink jet, this printer also has the ability to reset cartridge usage count. Got this off a website (Precision Roller - giving them credit). Steps below:1. Ensure the printer your Brother multifunction unit is switched on. If the machine is not in sleep mode, an image should appear on the LCD display.2. Hint: It is easier to press the fax key at this time and note the location of the Asterisk key before opening the printer lid. Once the printer lid is open, the keypad will no longer be illuminated.3. Open the printer lid of your Brother MFC-9340 (and related models).4. Press and hold the Asterisk key for five (5) seconds. Even though the keypad is not illuminated with the printer lid open, the asterisk key does still function.5. A new menu should appear on your Brother’s LCD display.6. The LCD display should now show different options based on toner color as well as cartridge capacity. Select the printer cartridge that you would like to reset. A table is provided below to assist in selecting the correct toner cartridge to reset.1) Toner colorCode Toner colorK BlackC CyanM MagentaY YellowCartridge CapacityCode CapacitySTR Starter (low capacity)STD Standard Capacity CartridgeHC High Capacity CartridgeSHC Super High Capacity Cartridge7. So I've used the cheaper replacement toners, and they have ranged from okay to pretty good, but I almost always have problems with streaking somewhere along the print cycle. The amount Brother charges for its toner is beyond obscene, but in my experimentation it is by far the best toner for my Brother color laser printer. I have had no problems with the authentic Brother toner, and the print quality is visibly better than any of the off-brand replacement toners. I've come to realize that I just need to suck it up and pay the price, if I want consistently good results from my printer. Don't get me wrong, I would switch to a cheaper alternative in a minute, if I could find an alternative that consistently provided good results.
