Very talented artist behind these lovely ornaments. I love that it's sturdy and solid and also makes a great gift. The scarf is candy cane style and it's looking great on the holiday tree. I'd give this one a top recommendation to others.

It was exactly what I was expecting. It is sturdy and has some weight to it. The scarf is removable. It is a gift for a three year old, and I think he will love it.

I was so excited to find this buffalo ornament!Every year I buy my kids an ornament to hang on their stocking that represents a memory from that year. My 15 yr old is in an early collage program for gifted/high achieving students. He also has ADHD and can sometimes struggle with task/homework avoidance. I remind him to be a buffalo when he is having trouble getting started or lacking motivation to get things done.The buffalo, when a storm is coming in; faces the storm & charges straight into it, pushing threw. The buffalo gets through the storm faster. Cows turn away from storms, but are not able to out run them. Cows stay stuck in the storm for much longer.This buffalo ornament is solid & sturdy, has great detail and was the absolute perfect ornament for my kid this year.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and it is SO cute! The bison is not made from plastic, but rather a ceramic material - it is heavy and feels almost like stone. This will definitely need a strong branch to hang, but I love that about this piece, actually. It’s able to stand alone evenly on a table and not topple over. The details are beautiful and very lifelike as well! The scarf is a little large for this piece, and it is a little rough on the edges where the Pom Pom's attach. This scarf can be untied and also removed from the bison if you like. I think that is a nice perk as it gives the recipient options as to whether or not they want the scarf on or off while decorating.I am giving this ornament 4 stars because I felt like the packaging could be nicer. It came in a blank white box with a sticker on it that didn’t really tell what the product was. The box was also a little beat up from shipping which was a little sad as this is a gift. Luckily, the ornament was packed in a styrofoam container inside the box and was protected. The scarf had some issues as well as previously stated. I think if these things were fixed, this would be a 5 star item for me!

As a bona fide bison enthusiast I absolutely love this ornament! She has great detail and is very realistic looking. She's a little bit heavy so you'll need to be selective about where she is placed on the tree. She would also be perfect on the mantel or in your wildlife display. The scarf comes off and is not needed, but does add a bit of holiday flare. A very nice ornament and I'm very happy to have her join my favorite things. How do you know what sex a bison is? She's missing some parts underneath, for one. The female bison's horn base is about the same size as her eye and the horns tend to curve back toward their heads (see my bison's photos). The male bison's horn base is about double the size of their eyes and tend to be straighter and stand more upright (see the product photos). Mine could also be a young male, but I'm going with female. Her name is Rosebud, and she's lovely.
