I wanted to replace my mismatched track light fixtures with a matching set. My old fixtures has LED bulbs (halogen replacements, same as come in these fixtures). My old LED lights dimmed normally with my LED compatible dimmer.These new "LED compatible" lights do not.They have already been returned. This senior wasted a fair amount of time on a ladder, taking down the old fixtures, putting up these fixtures, then taking down these fixtures, then putting my existing fixtures back up.You are forewarned.

I like the lights, no flicker, exactly as described. When shopping be sure to look at wattage, color temp, & beam angle so you get the type of light you are looking for.

In the pic you can see the light pattern put out by these LED. It is very wide and smooth without rings or other artifacts. The head is difficult to see in the pic but it is only 6" away from the white board with the cone touching both sides of the board. Thats almost a 90 degree cone which is really wide. I have several brands of track lighting heads that are rated at 4000K and they are all a bit whiter than this light.There is plenty of cable available to fully rotate the head in the gimbal which is sometimes an issue these types of lights. The twist connect worked well and was not difficult to pull back the outer shell to install.If you are looking for a wide flood that's a little warmer than 4000K these are the lights for you.

Bright, compact, good quality:These track lights are pretty small and don't stand out much when not turned on, but provide a good level of brightness and directionality when in use. The track lights are ideal for a vaulted living room or similar, as you can fit many of them in a relatively small space and light up a larger area when utilizing the full set. The lights can get bright, so if you can help pointing them at places people would be seated that would be ideal, but since they're easily adjustable you can always just reposition them slightly to better fit your unique setup. The physical quality of the lights is also pretty good, and they feel solidly put together and pretty sturdy in your hands.Overall, this is a great set and I would recommend.
