Not very sturdy. A piece broke off while I was attempting to adjust it.

This was working great for about three weeks. However, after daily use, the knob started to work less and less and it finally stopped working. I believe something broke. When it worked, this was one of the best hammer toe correctors I've tried.

This bunion corrector fit my mom that is woman's size 10, perfectly. There were no directions but it was not hard to figure out how to adjust it based on the picture. She was able to get the desired effect of straightening out her toe with no discomfort. She was able to wear it while sitting at night, but I don't think this is something that you would want to try and walk in. She is using it every night she remembers and will likely get one for her other foot as well.

I wanted to love this device. I liked how simple it was, and I liked the knob that adjusts the tension.Pros: very comfortable when wearing, nicely padded, straightforward designCons: I have size 9.5 feet (Male), and I found the strap that goes around the mid-foot could be a bit longer to slip over my foot without having to remove the strap from the loop to put it on. The strap around the toe is more than ample for me. The knob that adjusts the tension uses a system of rudimentary "pulleys" to transfer turns on the knob into pull on the toe. As you can see in the picture, the cord actually pulls DOWN from the big toe, and I find that I have the small knob very hard to try to create tension on my toe. I thought maybe there was kink in the cord and released it fully and tightened again, but it gets very hard to turn just as it begins to rug the toe to the side. I have arthritis in both hands, and I simply can't get a good grip on the little knob, so it might be that my hands aren't adequate for the situation.Word of Caution: As mentioned in the product description, this device is NOT interchangeable from Left foot to Right foot and vice versa, so I need two separate splints (left and right) to be able to work on both my left and right foot bunions.

Posting this just in case anyone else struggles to figure out with the toe strap like I did. This is my first bunion corrector. I had a cheap bunion guard/toe spreader before when I first found out I had a bunion, but I ended up misplacing it and my foot started to really hurt and cramp up, so I decided that if I was going to get another one, I'd get a real one... especially for the price.I was excited to give it a try and experience some relief when it came in... but the toe strap was out of one of the slots and flipped the wrong way even... so I couldn't figure out how to really secure my big toe, so for the first couple days... the brace wasn't really effective.Well I kept playing with it and figured out that you kinda want to sandwich your toe between the strap and the toe part of the brace, putting the strap so that both ends are pulling the brace too your foot and wrapping around your toe... kinda like the little strap is a bandaid laced through the brace. Hopefully the picture helps that make more sense.Once I figured out how to use it right, it did help alot! Very relieving. I don't think you can truly correct a bunion without surgery, but it does help relieve the pain for a while!

Works well, fairly comfortable, I like the adjustability so you can slowly bring your toe in. Once you figure out how it goes on your foot it's easy to use. It helps relieve the pain of aching bunions pretty well. It's held up to walking around the house bare for a few times.

Works well to prevent pain. Is it a "corrector?" Time will tell on that, but I'm satisfied with the way it works and the level of pain it suppresses. Good option and solid construction.

This bunion corrector device arrived without the necessary big toe strap, so it’s unusable as-is.The quality of the material seems nice. Just not their quality control of the product being packaged.
