Very uncomfortable material, sorta cheap for the price.

What a person wants in a foot brace of any kind, be it a bunion corrector or hammer toe corrector or splint or brace for a sprain, no matter what the application for the brace, is reduction of mobility and a tight fit that doesn't strangle the foot/toes and a feeling of security without a feeling of being strangled/squashed and a feeling of smooth/soft fabric without that feeling of itchy/irritating fabric. That said, this is a brace for helping with a bunion on the side of the toe, which can also be used to brace the toe and prevent formation of a bunion on the side of the joint in the first place and which can be used to help weeks after a sprain when switching from a medical brace to a smaller brace, and it fits well if you measure correctly, but it loses a star for being uncomfortable. He liked that this kept the toe straight and he liked that the fabric was soft enough and he liked that it was tight enough, but the fabric was irritating enough for him to say it's four-stars, not a full five. For the record, he's not yet tried a full five-star brace that doesn't irritate his skin and, for full disclosure, he's elderly with a latex allergy, so this may not be allergy-friendly.Overall, this is good, works well if you measure correctly and put it on correctly, and it's well-made, but it does cause some skin irritation. It's a good option in a world of good options where we can't seem to find something that doesn't irritate his skin. The biggest issue with this bunion-corrector was the feeling of pressure from the little knob on the side coupled with an itch under that knob, so it definitely bothered his skin.

This corrector was surprisingly comfortable. The white strap around my foot was easy to adjust and allowed me to easily move it forward and back so the toe part was positioned well (from my view). The toe part was also easy to loosing and tighten around my foot. Loosening and tightening the pull was also easy, but I can see how you could tighten it too much for some pain over time and even immediately. I followed their instructions to start easy and slowly work my way to tightening. It's too early to see results, and I'm definitely not an extreme case, but it does seem helpful to address it early.

The Neitoyshe Bunion Corrector is a simple yet effective solution for bunion relief. The grooved silicone pads are comfortable, stay in place well, and provide excellent support for both men and women.
