I got these to add some stability and grip as well as absorption for the d lite cart I take my kiddo in. I feels more comfortable taking the cart out on some rougher trails which the kid loves. I wish the d lite came with them to begin with since I don’t even run the other wheels now. Super easy to install. Expensive addition but worth having.

I purchased these tires to upgrade the existing ones on my Thule Chariot Cross, and they exceeded my expectations. The original tires were good, but I wanted a more robust option. After reading on a forum that these tires were compatible with Thule models, I decided to give them a try, and they fit perfectly! This fat tire upgrade is exactly what I needed. While they slightly reduce the height of the Chariot, this minor change is negligible for my purposes. Overall, a perfect enhancement for my Thule Chariot Cross.

These wheels do not stay in my Burley Tailwagon. You push the button, insert the axle in the trailer but nothing locks them in. They fall right out.

I don’t have a Burley trailer but I was able to change out the Burley pins and put my pins on so that they worked for the trailer I have.It was easy to change them, took a total of 5 minutes to make modifications. They make for a smooth and easy ride, plus they match my e-bike.

Nice heavy duty wheel kit for carrying stuff across the desert. Trailer came with narrower road tires. But it spends most of the time on two track desert roads carrying prospecting tools. Very sturdy thick tires, and very easy to attach to the trailer! Takes mere seconds! So far no flats!

Purchased to go with a Burley Bee kids trailer that came with the 20” push button wheels. The original wheels are great on the road but a little bumpy for off road use.No problems, fitting or rolling. My Issue: I know I should have expected a difference in ride height but thought the extra rubber of the chunky tyres would make up the difference. Wrong. When fitted with the new 16"+ wheel kit the front of the trailer looks so low to the ground now. Any ruts or root and the the front of the trailer catches. :-(

Fatbike friendly design to match the look and handling of my fat tire ebike. Very nice ball bearings has a nice smoothness to the roll of the wheel. That and the lightness of the Burley flat deck trailer is effortless pulling even when I put on a portable kennel on it and took my 65lb dog for a ride. Aggressive lugs of the rubber boots bite well in snow and dirt, a bit less in loose gravel

Ordered the fat tire kit to replace the stock tires that come on the Burley Nomad. So glad I did. The trailer is being pulled behind a fat tire eBike, so I wasn’t concerned about the rolling resistance of the fat tires on the trailer.Perfect fit, super easy to install, just remove the old tires by depressing the hub of the tire, press the new tires onto the axle and depress the hub button when you want to uninstall them. Takes less than a minute to exchange both of them.I appreciate the extra flotation the tires give when traveling over softer terrain, like snow, sand or bumpier trails/roads. You can have a true off-road experience with these tires.

I’ve left a fair review on the actual trailer In a previous post. This is a really nice trailer however it’ll be wise to make some necessary upgrades. I happen to be handy in this so I found it enjoyable to make it my own. But the price and size of these wheels should the new standard. They generally track and travel with more ease than the skinnier included wheel set. You’ll notice in my pics the size difference of the two. Bigger footprint and less bumps while riding. I also customized a full cut and fit vinyl undercarriage guard, and a custom rack to sit properly on the beefier tires. If you’re looking to buying the nomad or the flatbed trailer these wheels are perfect. I have both. The nomad is best now with the durable customization and larger wheel set. I made the rack out of scrap wald basket struts (I had laying around) and a trip to the hardware store for a few steel elbow or L joints. Better than the rack burley sells based on reviews.Hope this review helps for tying it all in with the wheels.

Unlike other reviews, I fortunately have not experienced any problems with this wheelset and have been really satisfied with their performance. I’ve been using them on a Burley Minnow trailer for a few weeks now to take my 5-year old on winter trail rides and for trips around town in the snow, including on icy pavement, and I haven’t had any issues with the wheels wobbling or any other problems. My son says they help make the ride on bumpy roads and trails feel less, well, bumpy - a big plus on those days when I like to do a longer ride and get in more mileage. The tires also make the trailer stable at speed but there is a slight noticeable increase in weight and a small decrease in rolling speed from these tires compared to the narrower and lighter tires that came stock on the trailer, which is what I expected. I have a fat bike with 27.5 x 4” tires, so pulling the trailer and my son using these wheels isn’t usually difficult as long as the snow is on the firmer side. Snow-wise, these wheels work best on trails where the snow is already groomed or just somewhat packed and not too slushy, loose, or deep, and, adjusting the tire pressure according to the conditions is important if you’re new to biking on snow with wide tires. On pavement with ice and fresh snow (less than 5 inches) these wheels work well too. I haven’t tried the wheels on dirt or sandy trails yet, but I expect they’ll work just fine if not better than on snow. The only con so far is that they’re pricy, and time will tell on the durability front, but, so far these wheels seem well built, and, it’s been worth the expense being able to be outdoors more with my little one and have some memorable family adventures.Update 2/22/2020: I’ve now also used this wheelset on sandy, dirt, and muddy trails, and they’ve performed great. Because goat head thorns are very common in my area on dirt trails, I’ve added Slime to both tubes in each wheel to help with reducing flat tires. After about 250 miles total on the wheelset, no durability issues or any problems.
