This fuse is used as a safety precaution when an item overheats. This fuse fits inside the plug that plugs into a 12 volt auto receptacle. The unit I have is a cooler that runs off the cars 12 volt system to keep drinks and food cool or hot depending on need. It also has an adapter that allows you to use household current to keep items cold/hot when you stop driving and settle into a motel.

We needed to replace the bulb in our Coleman refrigerator/cooler. These were very difficult to find, but Amazon had them. Not only did we get one replacement, but several others came in the package.

I purchased this fuse to replace one on our pellet stove that had gone out. I thought I could get something similar at the local auto parts store. Wrong. So I searched Amazon on line and found the exact fuse that I needed, put it in, and the stove started up immediately. I never even thought to search on line for such a little thing, but it was exactly what I needed.

I have no real complaints about the product itself. Just be aware it arrives in plastic bag and not a hard plastic container with a small metal sliding top.
